Initial Consultation

Ready for a landscape refresh with Sam's Design and Build? Call or request a quote online to schedule a design consultation. There may be a small consultation fee ($0-$150), which we'll discuss upfront. Our projects typically start around $500. We'll chat about your ideas, explore options, and give you a general cost idea (e.g., "A patio like that usually costs $12,000-$15,000"). A final price comes after the design is complete.

Concept Review

At Sam's Design and Build, we believe in collaborating with you from the start. From the initial consultation, we typically have a good idea of where to start. If more iterations are needed, we'll create additional design layouts to show you different possibilities and get your feedback early on. This way, you can explore various options—like patio shapes and layouts—and choose what you love best. We'll then use your favorite concept as a starting point for further refinements, ensuring your dream space comes to life.

Final Design and Proposal

After we design your concept based on your requirements, we'll create a detailed plan and a clear, fixed-price proposal with many extra options to choose from. This includes all the details, from plants and materials to construction methods. We'll work with your schedule to get it done, and we'll break down the costs so you can easily understand them.

Install

With the plan finalized and your project booked, it's time for the exciting part – construction! To ensure top-notch quality, you’ll be in direct communication with our superintendent and proprietor Sam Vandeputte. We'll work with you to find a construction schedule that fits your life.

And Done!

Once your project is finished, we'll do a final inspection to ensure everything meets our high standards. We'll then walk through it with you to make sure you're happy and answer any questions about maintenance. After that, we'll send the final invoice.
